 "Mahishasura Mardini Stotram" is a powerful hymn dedicated to Goddess Durga, composed by the great sage Adi Shankaracharya. This devotional chant glorifies Goddess Durga as Mahishasura Mardini, the slayer of the demon Mahishasura. The Mahishasura Mardini Stotram is a set of 21 powerful verses that vividly describe the form, attributes, and exploits of Goddess Durga. Each verse is dedicated to a different aspect of Durga's divine form and her role in vanquishing Mahishasura.
